Decisions, decisions, decisions . . .

We are in the midst of making a choice about flooring for our home–the one we’ve lived in now for almost 38 years.

The entry hall tile is chipped. The carpet in the dining room (why did we do carpet in the dining room?) is stained from a wayward puppy years ago. The laminate in the kitchen (why did we do laminate in the kitchen?) is buckled in places because of at least two leaks.

It’s time.

I walked into the first flooring store and immediately found what I had pictured.

Two months later Craig still wants to look. He’s sure there’s a better product and a better price out there somewhere.

Some decisions are easier than others.

The best decision, though, is to do what God has asked us to do. It’s not really hard, as we learn from this verse today:
– Love God.
– Follow what he has asked us to do (which means we need to study the Bible so that we DO know what he has asked us to do).
– Follow his ways as we interact with others.
– Serve him with all our heart and soul.

I can do that!

Now . . . if we could just decide on flooring . . .

I almost always second guess my decisions, except two…the decisions to adopt my two youngest children. <3 <3

I love adoption stories. They always make me cry. Blessings to you, Mary!
