Invite Janet to Speak
Janet McHenry is widely admired as a funny, down-to-earth
speaker who relates truth from her study of God’s Word,
her heart, and the surprises of her life.
An award-winning speaker, Janet is the author of 24 books, including the bestselling PrayerWalk (WaterBrook/Random House) and her newest, The Complete Guide to the Prayers of Jesus (Bethany House/Baker).
With 26 years of experience in public schools, she served as a high school English teacher, academic advisor, and her school district’s teacher mentor and coach. In addition to her books on prayer, she wrote a book called Teaching Poetry, co-authored the two courses for the Christian Writers Guild, and wrote the CBA bestselling 50 Life Lessons for Grads (Worthy).
called The Prayerwalker, she loves teaching others about how to have a closer walk with God and a praying-without-ceasing lifestyle. That praying focus started when she took a literal tumble downstairs and painfully ended up on her knees. Many consider Janet to be an expert on prayerwalking, with articles written widely about her, including a nine-page feature in Health magazine as well as many others (Woman’s Day, First, Catholic Digest).

Last Saturday, members from our Bible study group participated in the Prayer Walk sponsored by the Scenic City Women’s Network at Second Presbyterian Church. It was a wonderful event and the speaker, Janet McHenry, was excellent. It was life changing. With prayer all things are possible.
–Debbie Mitchell, Chattanooga TN
The women felt the speaking was excellent and filled with God’s love and grace as she shared from her heart. This is what causes lives to change and we are grateful to her for being a vessel for God and sharing herself with the women.
